How tall (high) is the kettle? What is the diameter of the opening? (can I fit the trangia mini windscreen inside?)

The Trangia Kettle (.9L) - 25 series is 3 inches tall, and the opening for the kettle is 4.25 inches in diameter. A Trangia Mini Windshield fits almost perfectly inside.

You can certainly perch this kettle atop the Mini Trangia, though it will not nest inside the set.

Yes, this kettle nests in the Trangia Series 25-5 & 25-7 cooksets.

Has the trangia kettles ever used lead solder? I have a camp kettle from the mid seventies and just making sure its safe

The newer models are completely safe from heavy metal contamination, but we do not have any information on the older models.
