I bought this as a "just in case" item... I have not had to use it yet, but if I ever have to, it is good to know that I have a professional grade quick kit that will close up a wound to help stop the bleeding when out on the trail. I feel safer knowing that I have it… and a few extra ounces in my pack is worth that peace of mind. When not out hiking, I keep it in our emergency preparedness ki
