There is very little information about these boots so I thought I'd add an important caution: they have a strange US sizing. I'm not sure what they had in mind when they sized them so large but there may be a reason that I'm not aware of. I would, however, recommend you try at least a 1/2 size smaller if not a whole-size. They only make sense when they have a snug fit and then they lock in your fo

I own several pairs of AKU boots, from approach shoes to mountaineering boots and can't think of anything bad to say about them. This boot is as close as you can get to a mountaineering boot while still working well at lower elevations on well worn trails.
