Excellent quality & value - ALPS Mountaineering Camp Creek 4 Tent - 4 Person, 3 Season

I bought the ALPS Mountaineering Camp Creek 4 tent about a month ago, and just used it for a 3-night camping trip. Setup was fairly easy with the enclosed instruction sheet. It took two of us less than 15-minutes to set it up for the first time. The guy lines were already attached to the rain fly, and tensioning them was easy with the quick-clamps provided. The fly allows plenty of upper ventilation to allow condensation to escape, and the four large windows provides for plenty of cross-ventilation on warmer nights. Another feature of the rain-fly that I found to be better than similar tents from other manufacturers is the extension that creates a bit of an "awning" over the door and back window. Finally, ALPS provided two stake-down loops at the bottom of the doorway to hold the floor down allowing for easy, one-handed zipper operation. The inside of the tent is voluminous - I am 6'1" and was able to stand up inside the tent with room to spare. The included mesh three-tier wall organizer was a nice feature that found a lot of use. It rained the first night and the tent stayed dry, and the next two days were extremely windy but the tent held fast with the stakes provided. When packing up to come home we were easily able to get the tent back into the zippered storage bag that it came in, with enough room left over to squeeze in the optional ground cloth. Overall I was extremely impressed with the quality and construction of this tent and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tent that you can actually stand up in.
