i have spent thousands trying to find a big tent that wasn't too heavy, too complicated or too chintzy for three season car camping. well, finally! i have purchased three of these tents so far, giving them as gifts to children and friends because i am so pleased with its size, quality, ease of assembly and durability. it's not fancy, but it does exactly what it says it will do and you get a great enjoyable three-day week-end at your favorite state park all in the deal!

I used this tent for a 3 day beach trip, camping on sand. Tent has excellent ventilation with the mesh ceiling and zip mesh windows on each wall. Rain fly covers the top well and still allows the air to flow. Set up for one person was no problem. Tons of room to stand up inside.

Highly recommend this one - excellent (especially considering price paid).

Used this tent Memorial Day week-end. Goes up quick and easy and
very roomy and comfortable inside. No storm, no rain, but looks
like it could stand some wind with guy lines staked out. Nice tent.

This tent seems pretty good. I haven't had a chance to use it properly yet but I have set it up twice. It's super easy to set up and took me roughly 15 minutes by myself on the second go.

I bought the ALPS Mountaineering Camp Creek 4 tent about a month ago, and just used it for a 3-night camping trip. Setup was fairly easy with the enclosed instruction sheet. It took two of us less than 15-minutes to set it up for the first time. The guy lines were already attached to the rain fly, and tensioning them was easy with the quick-clamps provided. The fly allows plenty of upper ventilation to allow condensation to escape, and the four large windows provides for plenty of cross-ventilation on warmer nights. Another feature of the rain-fly that I found to be better than similar tents from other manufacturers is the extension that creates a bit of an "awning" over the door and back window. Finally, ALPS provided two stake-down loops at the bottom of the doorway to hold the floor down allowing for easy, one-handed zipper operation. The inside of the tent is voluminous - I am 6'1" and was able to stand up inside the tent with room to spare. The included mesh three-tier wall organizer was a nice feature that found a lot of use. It rained the first night and the tent stayed dry, and the next two days were extremely windy but the tent held fast with the stakes provided. When packing up to come home we were easily able to get the tent back into the zippered storage bag that it came in, with enough room left over to squeeze in the optional ground cloth.
