Thje Altra T'imp 2 is a comfortable well desoigned shoe that combines style with lightness, and excellent stability for light tdrail running. I got the Red/porange color version and is quite sharp. My only caveat is that if you have a wide foot beware of the narrower width at the lower locstion of the shoe laces as it might rub a bit there as i had to purposely sketch
it several times to avoid rubbing on my bone. Other than that minor issue, the Timp 2 is quiote nice;

Initially I was going to grab the new version of the Altra Lone Peak but reviews were a bit lack-luster and when I tried them on at REI, they just felt a little flimsy and not what I'm used to in an Altra shoe. Then, I was going to buy the Alta Timp 1.5 at Roadrunner, especially because they felt right but then the salesperson said to wait for the upcoming TIMP 2s. I'm glad I waited the extra couple of weeks. The new Altra Timp 2 is a fantastic shoe. It's crazy light and feels great to stomp away on. However I'm a little skeptical on how long these will last, especially cuz I hike countless miles on any given multi-weekly trek. Time will tell for sure. I like the feel, the funky colors, and the feather-like weight. I just hope they last. Right now my only gripe is that they get dirty easily and are a bit cumbersome to clean entirely. Other than that, Campsaver was excellent in getting me these not only at the best price on the internet, but having these delivered in no time at all, in less than 2 days and just in time for one of my bigger treks of 2020--my isolation trek!
