Very good jacket for cold weather. Used to wear size S since I am short and small. I am 5'6 and 145lb. I wanted size XS. Finally I bought size XS. The size is perfect and I love it. Very warm and comfortable.

Good.Arcteryx

I have both Alpha IS and Fission SV. I'm also a fan of Arcteryx, and I'm very happy with Fission SV. It's a lot of comments about the life of the zipper that worry me. I really like the Fission SV feature, and I prefer Arcteryx's quilts. It's really great.

This jacket is rock solid and super bomber! Arc'teryx is the best at making amazing gear that will hold up to any adventurers lifestyle. Comfortable while providing a great amount of protection from the elements. Really happy with my purchase.

It's Summer for Goodness Sake

You want a review of an insulated waterproof winter jacket in May? I like it. It fits and feels good when hanging from my shoulders, but I cannot really try it until next winter. I bought it because it has excellent reviews from others, and I needed a new ski jacket for storm days.

The jacket is good

Great jacket for everyday use in cold weather. Keeps the rain out. It runs a bit large, I’m 6’2 and 220lbs and I went for the Medium, because I like my jackets snug and it fits great. A bit tight at the hips, but that gave a little after a few days. Very warm and comfortable.

Nice mix of style and practicality

Nice jacket. Bought this and an Alpha IS to compare. Kept the Fission SV and returned the Alpha IS. Alpha was crinkly, had a huge hood, and not as many pockets. The Fission fixes all of those things and is cheaper. Good all around jacket. Can wear to watch my kid play in the freezing rain, out on the town, or even skiing. Was searching a long time for a good insulated waterproof jacket and I think I found it. I’m 6’3” 215 and returned the Large as it was a bit short in the arms and a bit snug. XL should be perfect.

Mens' Fission SV Jacket

Best winter extreme weather jacket I have ever worn. Quickly seals out drafts with multiple ways to adjust the fit. Comfortable and allows a wide range of movement without letting heat escape. Blocked the wind with gusts over 30 mph. Buy it! I'm going to enjoy the value of this jacket long after I have forgotten its price!
