Almost perfect
Used for about 2 weeks now during weather ranging from ~30 to 60 degrees F. Very comfortable and easy to maneuver. Temperature control is great where I find I'm in a comfort zone regardless of activity and temperature.

one of the bast arcteryx jacket
Gamma mx is one of the arcteryx's best jacket. I have several of them. This year is a update version. I bought the hooded and the jacket version. There are many updated design which make the jacket better. I love them.

Recommendations in soft shell
I've had a lot of soft shells, and choosing mammut from the top is my first choice. But gamma mx has more functions, but it is too short. It would be nice if it could be longer.HoodyI recommend a longer version, but the hat is a little too big, so commuting may be strange.

Great soft shell jacket
This is the right jacket for any outdoor occasions. Excellent materials, well made and looks very athletic. I am living i a mild weather zone, so not need for several layers. Just shirt and this handsome jacket. Just wish they have it in Extra Small Size(hoodless). Sleeves just a little long and shoulders little wide.

Great Jacket
I'm 6'2" and 175 lb and purchased a size large and it fits great (I have two other Arcteryx jackets that I had to get size XL). I usually have issues with sleeve length on jackets but the sleeves on this jacket are long enough for my arms. The jacket isn't cut for the typical US male beer gut so if you've been hitting the hops a little too hard this may not fit. There are several comments about the tight fit on the cuffs and they are tight but my XXXL hands fit through the opening (snug but not a problem). As for the aesthetics, my wife has informed me that she wants me to not wear the jacket playing (ski & hike) but to keep it for around town because she likes how it looks. The jacket is really well made (typical of Arcteryx products).

Excellent soft shell
My first Arc’teryx item, I purchased this jacket based on reviews and the reputation of the manufacturer. I wondering why I waited so long to jump in. The sleeve length is slightly longer than usual and this is what makes the jacket so great. When riding a bike or climbing a hill movement is not restricted and the sleeves do not end up 3 inches above your wrist. I really enjoy the light weight, durability, wind and water protection. I was really looking forward to buying the insulated jacket to wear over this but it’s so warm by itself I may not need it unless temps aren’t well below zero.

Great Jacket For What Its Designed For
Everything about this jacket is amazing...perfect to wear over a layer when you want to be really warm...warm enough to wear alone with a t shirt from 40 degrees F and higher...matched with an apache fleece and you're super warm! Tons of useful pockets! Very durable, water resistant, great fit, soft.I absolutely love this jacket. It is extremely comfortable and very versatile. This reminds me again and again why I love Arc'Teryx.

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Jacket - Men's
It is comfortable, warm and good looking. Its breathability and soft fleece inside makes it a very comfortable layer for multiple uses. I plan on having this jacket for years to come. I especially love the arm pocket and waist ties. Plan on using it as a layer for skiing and backcountry play and it is fantastic for tooling around town!

Good purchase
I am very happy about buying this jacket. it is soft, supple and lightweight, living up to Arc'teryx's reputation for quality. According to Arc'teryx's size chart my recommended size is extra small, which Campsaver did not have. I ordered the small and it fits over an Atom AR hoody and baselayer snugly without being too constrictive.
