The rho lt is a different beast than the phase ar when considering base layers.
Both are breathable (phase ar wins), both fit slim (phase ar is slimmer), and both are useful in a variety of activities.
The rho lt is better used for moderate exercises, or aerobic exercises as a light outer layer. When consistently exercising at a high level,
I find that the rho lt is appropriately breathable and warm enough to function on its own.

Excellent piece for running. Very pleasant next to skin feel and breath ability. Dries quickly. The hood fits well and not to bulky. Freedom of movement, design and build quality as expected from Arcteryx. I highly recommend it.

I am really happy with my new jacket. I am a big fan of all the Arc'teryx gear I have and this jacket is no exception. High quality material and bomber stitching make this jacket a keeper! I have faith it will hold up well to my active lifestyle and be an essential piece of gear for years to come.

It's super comfortable and warm as a base layer.
And I'm satisfied with its quality.
I used it in city and outdoor hiking, it's useful for different occasions.
If you need extra warm of your head , this is better choice the RHO LT ZIP.

Perfect layer for chilly alpine mornings - and not too thick where you can't wait to take it off once the sun comes out! I actually was feeling lazy and didn't want to take it off when I started sweating - and it wasn't overbearing.

I wore it for a run, and it was the perfect length - didn't ride up around the waist, and the arms were just long enough to cover my chunky Suunto watch and still keep my wrists warm.

I packed this and a puffy jacket for my trek on the JMT and it was the perfect mid-layer! I love the zip pocket on the arm - it fits chapstick, ID card and/or a snack gels/bar!

I'm really excited to get out on some trad climbs with this. I think it's the perfect layer for when you're climbing in the shade. It's thick enough where I wouldn't be worried that I'd tear it, and the quality is great so I'm not worried about pilling. It looks like the hood will fit over a helmet too, but I have not tried it yet so can't confirm.

I have the Illusion color, but now I want another one in Flux! Please make it in more bright colors!
