Expert Review
Rugged, breathable, durable piece for climbing
As a sport climber, I'm really happy with the Sigma SL Anorak. I've been wearing it climbing in Northern Utah as the season has started shifting from Summer to Fall. This piece is awesome for transitional weather as it packs down small, is incredibly breathable, super stretchy, and doesn't impede on climbing motions. The material is similar to their Gamma softshell but a little thinner which is ideal when you warm up during a route. I expect this pullover to hold up well to abrasion as well.
The hem of this pullover has a cool feature, especially for climbers. Sewn into the hem are small foam tubes that prevent the jacket from pulling through your harness. Visually, they're barely noticeable, but they make it so you don't have to continually tuck your jacket back into your harness. I definitely recommend this piece for anyone doing sport, trad, multi-pitch, or even bouldering. The styling is so good and it performs really well on the rock.
