Purchased this hat to backpack in southern Utah. Since all my buddies had purchased sun hats, I decided it was my turn to do the same. I wanted a hat that I could tuck away the sunshade when not using and still look like a nice "ball cap" hat. Just used this cap to hike Fuji-san. If you are looking for a "form and function" hat, this is it. I thought it looked great with the neck flap up or down. The hat itself is very light and breathable, also making it a very good choice for my tropical home climate of Hawaii. You'd think that the "wide brim" would make it look like a "ladys sun hat" but that was not the case. It looked great and
