I love the jacket
lightweight mid layer is perfect for varying conditions when layering is a must. It fits nicely over a base layer (or two) and allows ample room for a shell jacket over top. The Iliad color looks great. The material has a nice soft, cozy feel to it, without sacrificing quality and function. The only complaint is the sizing. I'm 5'9" 205 lbs, I needed a large because for the chest size, but the sleeves are too long. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if Arc'teryx offered more options in sizing, such as separate options for chest size and sleeve length.

Very comfortable; runs a little big
I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs and had to send the medium back for a small. The sleeves ran an inch too long and bunched up on the medium. The torso was too boxy as well on the medium. However, if you plan to use it as more of a jacket, then medium would work. I wanted a more trim fit and to use as more of an outer layer sweater so I went with a small. Arc'teryx lists it as a "relaxed fit", so this all makes sense. I can't comment on any piling as I've only had it a week so far, but it's very warm and comfortable.

Love the Arcteryx fit.
Love the fit on the Arcteryx Covert Hoody. I'm 6' and 180 pounds. The jacket isn't boxy but contours nicely. It's very stylish looking. It's also very warm. Would highly recommend.
