Good base layer
This is a very comfortable base layer. It has a silky feeling. I put one on per mountain trip: sleep, climb, trek, wash, swim, etc. It is very light, but not flimsy. I use it for treking, running, gym, travel, etc.

Review for fitment
I purchased the Large but I usually take a medium. I'm 5'10" 160lbs with a medium build and a 15 1/2" neck
The large is a little long in the arms and the neck is not snug but it will be fine with a t-shirt underneath for winter hiking. It is a light weight shirt, I have the black and can easily see through it. There is no material behind the zipper so as to not rub on the neck.
