Most Helpful Negative Review Good looking jacket but disappointment sizing and fit
Overall, Solano Hoody is a decent jacket especially the material (GORE TEX) and it feels like a good quality jacket. I like the lining inside (fleece-like) as well. However, the sizing and fit are horrendous. I thought Arc'teryx is more for athletic/slim fit but the jacket is so baggy. The torso is a bit loose but it is OK. You can fix this by sizing down but the arm fitting is just unfixable. Not sure why the arm sleeves are so big and baggy. You can fit both arms in one sleeve. Arc'teryx Solano Hoody - Men's

I own the Solano jacket for a few weeks now, and have started wearing it almost on a daily basis. It has some heat retention, but won't stand on its own in cold weather. It shines in its weather resistance though, being very windproof and much more resistant to water than I had expected.

The downside is the fit. I ordered a medium, but the sleeves fit as though they are built for Jean-Claude Van Damme, and are much too wide for the average individual with a sporty build like myself. The body could also be a bit more fitted.

If I could give one tip to Arc'teryx it would be to create a new version of the Solano jacket with a fit closer to that of the Nodin jacket.

I am 176cm and 74kg，Medium size is appropriate. This dress is very windproof and has a certain waterproof function. I haven't had time to try it on yet, but I am looking forward to going out for a trip with this dress

Good jacket

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for, except it has no inside pockets. I need a jacket that I can use anywhere, but I also want one that I can carry my ID in. If this jacket even had one inside pocket it would have been perfect

This is a very suitable clothing for commuting. It has very good windproof performance. The clothes are very light but the version is very good. The clothes work is very delicate, so I can't wait to put it on outdoor sports.
