we really liked the Chicken Vindaloo

I've got say, i really don't generally like freeze dried meals, but on a recent trip to the Denali backcountry, weight was an issue, so i tried a bunch of meals out and took what was good plus some surprises. This was a favorite. The BP "thai" meal fell way way short, and we couldn't finish it, but the chicken vindaloo was good, with rich flavor. We wolfed it down. Not going to claim it tastes like an authentic indian dish, but its a tasty curry with meat and rice and a solid backcountry meal. will be buying it again.

Chicken Vindaloo

Like pretty much everything made by Backpacker's Pantry, the Chicken Vindaloo was fantastic. Couldn't ask for much better out of a freeze-dried meal
