They taste Great. If I cooked some of these on the Trail on a cool summer morning, they'd taste even better. The only issue is that you have to cook them on a stove/skillet after they are hydrated. So, you can't eat them out of the bag.

These eggs and beans have a great flavor, but the texture was a little grainy. Better mixing may have been in order. The instructions suggest adding water to the pouch and letting the eggs and beans sit 10 minutes for rehydration. From there you have to cook them in a separate pan. Since the pouch does not have a gusseted bottom, you have to hold it for the required time or prop against a rock.

suprisingly good for powdered eggs. we ate them in a flour tortilla with the only regret that we were out of chili's snack size salsa. Great for back packing.
