Most Helpful Positive Review This One's a Keeper Too
My son and I have been testing freeze-dried entrees to prepare for a Spring backpack in the Adks. We tried this one out for lunch overlooking Greenwood Lake, NY from the Sterling Forest Bare Rock Trail. The potatoes and beef reconstituted very nicely and the corn added a welcome texture to the meal. Might be a little salty for some, but I added a little pepper and thoroughly enjoyed this one. T

Shepherd's Pie with Beef This stuff is easy and quick to prepare with just hot water. Stays with you. Great for backpacking. Plenty for two hungry people. Make sure you shake the bag well before and after adding the hot water.

Shepherd's Pie with Beef

Easy to rehydrate with just 15 minutes in boiling water. Excellent
flavour and texture after a long day of hiking. Very filling, needs
some salt and pepper just like all dehydrated meals. Highly
recommended.

Bought a few of these for a scout trip. Husband and son like this one a lot, so purcased some more. Very lightweight and is a lot of food for a light pack weight.

Wicked good

It was nice to have something good and hearty after a 14 mile hike was able to eat the 2 person dinner by myself with no problem very tasty. Cant wait to try the tomato Chipotle Chicken with pasta.
