Backpacker's Pantry Wild West Chili & Beans - 2 Servings
Wild west chili is a nice change of pace from your usual noodles and rice dishes, plus there's the added bonus of fiber for those uncomfortable moments on the trail. This meal worked well for us while on an extended backpacking trip in Patagonia, South America. Only downside: the dried onions don't completely rehydrate and are a little stiff. I'd still recommend it.

This is one of the better Backpacker's Pantry flavors, despite being vegetarian. I've tried the Good To Go chili and thought this was a WAY better flavor. It did, however, give me horrible gas (which I am very not prone to). There, I said it. Not one to take if you're in a tent with a new friend. Haha Otherwise, delicious. I'll buy it again.

I have used Backpacker Pantry meals for years. While they are bit more expensive and have a BIT more cook time than Mountain House, they tend to be more filling, and more product per bag. I have found them to be very tasty, easy to make, (just add boiling water, seal, wait the alloted time, and eat), The shelf life is pretty good, and the flavor of the product is VERY good.

Wild west chili is a nice change of pace from the usual pasta and rice dishes. Plus, it has the added benefit of fiber for the uncomfortable moments on the trail. Only downside is that the dried onions don't completely hydrate and remain a little hard. I'd still recommend it.
