Reviews & Ratings for Big Agnes Big Six Armchair
— 5 reviews — Page 1
One comfy, compact, sturdy armchair. Not your typical lawn unit. With that said its not the beach chair your throwing away after a season of use. Packs down real nice , the arms rest are wonderful and have drink holders !

You are asking yourself am I really going to spend $200 on a camping chair? Or in my case 2 plus the 2 Big Six Chairs I already have. I say do it. Most comfortable chair I ever owned for the outdoors. I am 54 years old BTW and I have owned my fair share of gear. The build quality is fantastic and I expect these chairs will last till the end of my days. Bite the bullet spend the dough!
Pros:
Lightweight
Comfortable
easy setup
compact
dries quickly
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
day trips
Outdoor events
road trips
Campgrounds
Would recommend: Yes

I have 6 camp chairs in my garage that are heavy and don’t pack down to a manageable size. They’re all going to Goodwill now that I have the Big Agnes Big Six. This chair is light weight and packs down smaller than anything its size. It’s a high quality piece that will support up to 300lbs although I haven’t tested the weight limit. It comes without a cup holder but I found a clamp on model that works like it’s made for the chair.
Pros:
Light weight and packs small
Cons:
Expensive but made with quality materials
Best Used for:
Car Camping
Would recommend: Yes

I gave this item a 5 star rating even though I am returning. The chair is very well made. The only negative is that it is tight to put together the first time, but I imagine it would stretch out over time. I just realized that the bucket style seats, while very comfortable, are not great for sitting up and working or eating at a camp table. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this as a lounging around or campfire type chair. Big Agnes quality does not disappoint.
Pros:
Lightweight
COMFORT
Packable
Cons:
hard to put together
Best Used for:
Car Camping
BASE CAMP

Great light weight folding chair for taking on the go. Nice chair to take camping, outdoor festivals, music, etc. I like the fact it has a high back, so you can recline and take in the tree canopy, the beautiful sky or some shut-eye. It has integrated cupholders and nice armrests. A very comfortable folding chair, it does not cut into my legs at the front edge, like most. Kind of expensive, if it holds up I think it will be worth the purchase price.
Pros:
Light weight, reclining, comfortable.
Cons:
Expensive.
Best Used for:
Camping, music, outdoor festivals.
Would recommend: Yes
