This tent worked amazingly on a recent trip to the backcountry of Alaska. It held up under sustained wind and rain. The only rain that made it into the tent occurred during setup and wiped up no problem. I found the mountain glow to be unnecessary and fairly dim and if I bought again, would probably not worry about that feature. Fitting 3 is certainly possible but 2 seems to be best as with most 3 man tents. It seems delicate at first but suffered no signs of damage after being setup on rocky beds over a footprint

This tent is perfect for two people and a dog. It seemed like it was going to be complicated to set up but was actually super simple and only took about 2 mins. It packed back up almost as quickly and easily. It poured down rain our first night in it. Everything stayed perfectly dry. The material seams like it would tear easily. However, I did not get the footprint and we camped in a really rocky area. No damage to the tent. I will be buying the footprint just for my own piece of mind though. We didn't try the lights so I can't comment on those. I bought this tent for our kayaking trips after quite a bit of research. I'm very happy with it.

I chose the Copper Spur UL3 to get a larger tent for two people (and a dog). I chose the 2015 model from CampSaver because of the exceptional price / value. I am very pleased with the tent and the order. That said, if you buy this tent and want the footprint -- be very careful about getting the right one. I bought the Copper Spur HV UL 3 mtnGLO footprint and the clips are close but not the same -- very, very hard to remove from footprint clip.

Very pleased with this purchase, very lightweight for a three person tent. It is so spacious, lots of room to sit up, lots of pockets to store things. Sets up/down quickly and easily. The strip of lights In the roof are a nice touch and don't add much the the weight. Looking forward to trying this out on our first camping trip soon.

This is the newest version of the Copper Spur UL3 and I couldn't be more impressed. It's lighter and packs just a bit smaller than previously. mtnGLO provides a nice amount of light to move around at night. Purchased the mtnGLO version simply because I plan to do some stealth camping and the color is more suitable than standard UL 3. Tent to buy IMO.

Lightweight, tough, actually sleeps 3 adults people comfortably. Stands up to the weather. Highly recommended.

I have a previous sister to this tent before, the Emerald Mountain UL 3, which has the brow pole going all the way to the ground on one side, love that tent, still use it. This tent I got for my wife and I to use. We love the mesh organization pockets, there are so many, but they do not get in the way or are not annoying. The only qualm we have with the tent is the doors, we have decided we like the doors opening to the side, not down. We love the MtnGlo, and my wife loves it a lot. It is light as well, we actually bought a 7L stuff sack and stuff both the tent and fly with the footprint in a smaller stuff sack which makes it smaller. Really nice. Doesn't condensate that bad, just a little when we camped on the beach in Alaska, but that is to be expected. Solid tent.

Not very nice tent. Light weight packs small. LEDs are a nice feature, provides enough light to see but not enough to read.
