Most Helpful Positive Review Room to spare
I bought this bag because after seeing it in a store and doing lots of research I felt it would be a good choice. I like how BA does not put any insulation under this bag, you will need a pad 25"Wx78"L. I believe it will support up to a 4" thick pad. I use a Q-Core SLX and it is VERY comfortable. I ...

Most Helpful Negative Review ugh
Bought this as my first backpacking sleeping bag three seasons ago, have used it at least 100 nights, mostly in cold and wet situations. I'm 6'2" and weiged 305 when I got this, 250 now. It's a decent product, but if you are a bigger hiker looking for sub 3-pound bags, there are far better options o...

Great quality and design

by Brett D., Written on July 23, 2017
This bag perfectly suites my needs - large, well constructed and lives up to its promises. The big agnes system allowing the mattress to fit into the sleeve means no more sliding or rolling off my mattress.

Plain & simple - this is a great bag!

by Shane W., Verified Owner Written on July 21, 2016
This is my all-rounder. I use it exclusively for motorcycle adventure riding which is mostly done during cooler months in the desert regions of inland (central) Australia. Consequently I rarely encounter night temps higher than 15c - the normal range for me is 0c to 10c (in the tent). Likes - the realistically sized pillow pocket, dual zips, down filled 'collar'. Dislikes - none I can think of.

The Best Bags for Big People

by John, Written on March 29, 2016
There are essentially no options for a high-tech bag for big people. The Big Agnes Park series are special, not only because they are big, but because they are able to remove unnecessary weight & bulk where it is not needed (bottom of the bag). To keep weight low, try using a pad with reflective foil in it (Therm A Rest X-Therm, etc). The bags are not cheap, nor the X-Therm pads, but if you are backpacking AND want comfort, this is the setup. I have 9 BA bags and love them all. The zippers open & close very easily (they use YKK zippers). Once started, you can unzip the entire bag by GENTLY pulling the bag apart. Zipping up, the zipper may occasionally snag on the internal wind break (flap), but it is not as bad as with other bags. The pad pouch is great, so I don't roll off the pad. Most BA bags come with a heavy duty nylon stuff sack & an X-large cotton storage bag. A note on the temperature ratings... If you are hot-natured or are used to a cold environment, then BA's temperature ratings will probably be accurate for you (especially if you use an insulated pad like an X-Therm). I live in a moderate climate & are neither hot nor cold natured. Here are my comfort levels for different BA rated bags:
BA -15 with insulated pad = 0 to +15 degrees (most comfortable at +10).
BA 0 with insulated pad = +10 to +25 degrees (most comfortable at +20).
BA +15 with insulated pad = +20 to +35 degrees (most comfortable at +30).
BA +15 with non-insulated pad = +25 to +40 degrees (most comfort...

Great Sleeping bag

by Boy Scout Dad, Written on April 3, 2014
I was looking for comfort more than anything and I got it with this bag. This a is big sleeping bag that gives me room to roll around. The integrated sleeping pad helps to keep it laying flat even when you roll over at night. I paired this with a Qcore pad and all I can say is WOW. It is amazingly comfortable and very warm. Well worth the money.

Great bag for a big guy.

by hoopvol, Written on September 10, 2013
I am a big guy, 6'2" - 350lbs. I needed a quality bag that was was comfortable, roomy, and warm. This bag has plenty of room for me to move around in. I also purchased the wedgie for additional room. I really like the air pad that fits into the bottom of the bag. I have the Big Agnes insulated air core pad, it is 25"x77". It is nice to not roll off your bag during the night. You do need to purchas
