Real nice bag!

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Just got back from a overnight hike. 2ft of snow and 20degrees at night. I used the Big Agnus Insulated Air Pad with the sleeping bag and it worked great! Very warm and very comfortable. Bag also packs nicely and absolutley love how the sleeping pad has a slip-in compartment that keeps the bag on the sleeping pad. Would recomend and very happy with purchase[...]
Most Helpful Positive Review Great Sleeping Bag For The Money
I used it 4 days in sub freezing and absolutely loved it. I'm 6ft tall and wide in the soulders, and had plenty of room to move. The only thing is that it takes time to warm it up (because of its size), but once you warm and keep it closed around your neck, you will sleep like a bear. I have the large size, and I'm buying one for my father-inlaw.

Encampment 15 Sleeping Bag (Synthetic) Wide version

by Kathryn M., Written on July 7, 2016
We had some pretty chilly weather up in the High Peaks a few weeks ago. The bag worked great. I like the roominess of the bag because I roll around during the night. Great bag for the price!

My zipper is stuck...again

by Rick C., from TN, United States Written on October 1, 2015
First and foremost, I have never had a bag that the mattress would attach by using the sleeve incorporated into the bag. Good idea or maybe great idea. I'll need to test drive it a few more times. As the temp only got down to approx 50 degrees, I started out on top of my bag. I got chilled and decided to climb inside. I attempted to zip up and right off the bat, the zipper got cough in the material. I finally worked it lose and then it got cough a second time. From then on I took a lot more care when zipping it up or down. I've never experience that with any other bag I've own. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM. It needs to be addressed right away. Other that the crappy zipper problem, this bag is very nice and stuffs well and small. I would never dream of giving it a 5 star with a zipper problem like this and I almost dropped the rating to a 3 just because of the zipper. Anyway, I would recommend the bag with the warning about the zipper. There are bags that don't have this problem and they're cheaper.

Roomy comfort.

by Lise W., from NM, United States Written on August 6, 2015
I paired this with the Big Agnes 3" AirCore pad and was very comfortable and not worried about getting wet. I got a little cold at about 40 F so I'll try adding a thin foam pad to the AirCore for more insulation. (I tend to sleep cold so warmer blooded folks may be just fine.)

I got this to carry on my Harley. It's much smaller than what I had before, but still keeps me warm (I don't do outside at below 30F)And it's comfortable.

Awesome bag, but warm at 15 degrees?

by txplants, from UT, United States Written on May 5, 2014
Let me just say I love the Big Agnes sleeping system and can't imagine ever returning to the conventional bag, but I can't figure out their temperature rating scheme. I switched to this bag from the Gunn Creek (rated to 30 degrees F) because at temperatures in the mid 30s I was quite cold. This bag (rated at 15 degrees F) was a little warmer on nights in the 30s, but when temperatures dipped to th

Roomy and Warm!

by CampCrafter, from SC, United States Written on April 3, 2014
I am a backpacker/hiker and I bought this sleeping bag after trying several other "mummy style" bags that were just too cramped for me to sleep comfortably. This bag has more feet and leg room and is much easier to turn over (while attempting to stay on your sleeping pad). I am a side sleeper and I have no problems turning from one side to the other. The zipper opens most of the way down and could
