comfortable, light, compact
I have a bad back and the 2.5 inches of air that keep me off the ground have eliminated my back pain when camping. I find it very comfortable especially when used with the a Big Agnes sleeping bag which has a built in sleeve to hold the pad in place. I guess the only drawback is having to blow it up but I can get it done in 2-3 minutes. If deflated correctly it will fit easily into it's stuff sack

Sleeping on air (literally)
I recently purchased several Big Agnes products (Pine Island 4 tent, Nugget 45 degree bag, Mystic 15 degree bag and Encampment 15 degree bag) and truly enjoy their products! Their sleep system products are intuitively designed and allow a little more room for those claustrophobic vs. a traditional mummy bag.

Love these BA pads
Have two of these pads now, got the petite for my wife, but will actually use that and give a friend my regular length one, as the petite is long enough for me (5'11") as my head is on my backpack for a pillow which is off the pad, and having a shorter pads saves a few ounces. I love these Big Agnes pads, they are time consuming to blow up and are shockingly comfortable and warm...highly recommen

Very comfortable
Some reviews I've read before purchasing this stated it was difficult to inflate. I'm in my mid-fifties and can inflate this mattress with very little effort in about two minutes. I chose this mattress over the self inflating type because it's about half the weight. I have to mention I have not field tested it yet however, I had it inflated it at home for a week and did not lose air. Also, it's ve

Big Agnes Insulate Air Core Pad
Minimalist and outdoor living don't have to mean suffering, so the little extra weight is easily overshadowed by the comfort and good sleep. Insulation in the pad is important, but when the temp is much below 32, I will add a foam pad as well

Very Nice Sleeping Pad
I use this pad with a BA Encampment bag. Used the system for a 10 day camping excursion lately and was very impressed. I found the pad to be very comfortable. It wasn't too hard to inflate and packed up very small. I kept the pad in the bag sleeve and just rolled them up together each morning - easy. I bought another pad for my son.

Pretty comfortable . . .
This pad is very comfortable! A little bit of a pain to inflate, but not too bad. Have only used it once since purchasing, but it seems pretty durable (always a concern with an inflatable pad). You can go a little lighter on a pad, but I've yet to see one lighter near this comfortable - a few ounces is worth it for a great night's sleep IMO!
