I bought this to get a little extra shoulder room in my Marmot Heium. Im 5’-11” 225lbs with a barrel chest and was feeling claustrophobic without the added room. I measured the bags zipper length and looked on the back side of the pull to find width. The wedgie zipped right in and saved me from having to go to a bigger more expensive bag. I’m very pleased so far.

Zippers match up great but it seems a little long for my bag but it may serve as extra cover for my shoulder.

This bag expander was a great addition to my sleeping gear. Using it gives me versatility I hadn't imagined before. I use it to make my already roomy Encampment wide enough to act as an over bag to a winter weight down mummy bag. The added width the Wedgie affords permits the use of down bags without compressing the full down loft. I get a warm down inner bag and a large width synthetic fill outer bag. This allows evaporation of moisture from down to synthetic putting it in the insulation layer best designed to deal with it. The down doesn't build up moisture and the outer bag can be aired and dried separately, conditions permitting, on winter backcountry trips. The extra width also allows for plenty of wiggle room as I am a restless sleeper. Had to wait months until the spec I needed was back in stock, but well worth it. Don't delay this purchase if interested. Stock may run low again.....

I bought the Wedgie to use with my Big Agnes Lithia SL. I'm a big girl but I do a lot of camping and really wanted a good compressable down bag but they just do not make them my size. I can zip them up but become very claustrophobic. The Wedgie gives me enough extra space inside the bag that it becomes workable so it literally saved my bag.

It has the smaller style (5) of zipper however which

Used the wedgie on a Hahns Peak bag while winter camping in Alaska. Coldest temperature tested was -5F OAT. I am 250# and 6'. This made a tight fiting bag comfortable.
