Most Helpful Positive Review Great Tent For The Money...
After spending most of my camping years crawling in and out of backpacking tents -- and loving them for their light weight and bombproof weather capabilities -- this is the first "large" tent I've owned. Bought it as a means of getting my then new girlfriend to go camping. Turns out to have been a wise choice! Bought the older single door model on clearance along with the optional vestibule and have been well impressed. Felt good knowing it was a Big Agnes product (long a fan) and haven't been disappointed on that score. The tent is an easy pitch for two people -- even in the dark -- and is sp...

A good buy

My fiancé and I bought this tent to use as a car camping and backpacking tent (shoved into a compression sack). We have used it a few times so far and have been pretty happy with the purchase. On it's maiden voyage the tent withstood three days of continuous rain on Minnesota's North shore, keeping us and all of our belongings dry. The tent also has reflective guy lines which is great for clumsy feet. I also really like that the rainfly buckles into the tent at each corner, some other brands do not have that feature and once you have it, it's really hard not to. The tent provides a lot of head space, my fiancé and are both 6' tall and it allows us adequate moving around and standing room. The only downside to this tent so far is that the rain fly does not come all the way to the ground in the front or back of the tent. In the North Shore monsoon the peak of the front of the tent was dripping onto the front door, which held up and did not let water in, however, when you open the door, then all of the water on the door and dripping from the peak of the rain fly gets into the tent...I recommend setting up the added vestibule in rainy conditions to provide an added barrier. We did buy the vestibule and have loved the added space that it provides for gear storage and small chairs and a table. I would recommend this tent to anyone in the market.
