Awesome trim fitting fleece.

by john, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on December 14, 2017
almost a perfect fleece. great materials, an awesome snug athletic fit that is so hard to find with some companies. very warm for the light weight, and very breathable. love the stretchy sleeve cuffs. hood fits snug but comfortable, collar comes up very high to cover your mouth with zipper up fully. my only complaint is that I'd love two hip pockets above a harness line to keep my hands warm when wearing this more casually, or when hiking, but i can live without for the awesome clearance price. the orange color isn't as bad as i thought it might be, its actually a nice burnt orange. 6'4'' 190lbs, long arms and thin, and XL fits like a glove.
Pros:
  • warm and breathable for active use
  • Fit and length
Cons:
  • pockets
Best Used for:
  • mid layer
  • Active Wear

Best Climbing Fleece

by Walt P, from UT, United States Written on March 29, 2017
I was pitting this against the Patagonia R1, Arc'teryx Konseal, and Arc'teryx Fortrez(none else were worth considering in my opinion). I ended up trying them all on and finding out that this was the only fleece that the hem did not ride up when reaching above my head. The previous reviewer is really correct about the tight fit, which I love. I am 6' 2" and 190 lbs, which it fits very snug. The thing I like about the fit is that the arms are narrow, not just the body. If you are a body builder...this jacket might not be for you.

Nice Midlayer

by Richard D., from IL, United States Written on December 12, 2014
I haven't put it through the ringer yet, but so far so good. If your looking for a form fitting midlayer that allows plenty of mobility, this may be your ticket. Caution. Not extremely wind resistant. It's strength is that it's Polartec Power Dry so it dries with extreme efficiency with high output activities. I purchased it as a hiking and snowshoeing midlayer. It could be a stand alone on a cool, dry , non-windy day. I can't comment on durability but it's extremely comfortable. I'm 6' , 175lbs with athletic build and the medium is extremely form fitting which is how I like base and mid layers
