Most Helpful Negative Review Falls off head
Does not stay on my head whenever I look up. The back strap is too flimsy and wants to move no matter how tight it is on my head. Not a bad lightweight helmet if it were not for the looseness of the fit when looking up.

Great affordable helmet

For the price this is a nice looking and comfortable helmet. Black diamond always delivers. My wife and both my kids wear this helmet and love it. I love the clips for a head lamp. We use them inside and outdoor climbing.

good price to protect your head

High quality and durability, with reasonable price on market, are main reasons why I chose Black Diamond Half Dome-Helmet, you are secure and have no worries during any type of outdoor climbing. It's little bit heavy, though durable and affordable. I had an accident when this helm saved my life so, would recommend.

Great purchase

Recently purchased this helmet for my son. He says that it fits great (size large) and is comfortable. He has only been able to use a few times up to this point but loves it. I purchased the orange color and looks great. Overall a great purchase.

Good choice for a beginner

It's a good choice for a beginner for the price. Fits well. Came well packed. I haven't had a chance to try it on the rock yet though but I don't expect any issue there. Already thinking to buy the woman's version for my wife.

Nice helmet

Comfortable helmet. If you are into bigger climb I would recommend going with vector/vapour.
If not this is very much suitable for starter climbs like baker/rainier.

Sturdy and fits a fat head

Not heavy?! Wow! I expected it to weigh more as it isn't the low weight model. I have seen many folks with this helmet and they state it can really take some damage. I haven't put it though too many paces yet, but I'm just glad it fits a wide range of head sizes. My wife and I can both wear it!

Nice Helmet

Very comfortable helmet, rugged design and materials, lightweight and fit is superb with plenty of adjustment room. I wear a 58cm hat and the M/L is perfect, even with a fleece lined wool/acrylic beanie on.

Size fits, barely

The Small size is really really small (might be for kids or growing teenager) Would recommend the small/medium or medium/large size for any adults with an average size head.
