Awesome Headlamp
The best headlamp out there for the price, especially with the great deals that CampSaver has to offer. Camp Saver is always the best for deals, even moreso when they offer additional coupons! Thanks for another great value. And Thanks Black Diamond for an awesome product.

First impression
I would rather write a review after I’ve had a chance to use actually use the headlamp, but my first impression is positive.
However, everything I read about it not being user friendly is true. I can turn it on out of the box and find the different colors. That’s all. I cannot figure out how to get the distance beam and other features to work and it did not come with these instructions. I am going to have to go to Blackdiamond’s website to get this figured out.
It also is a bit heavy, as was described by others.
My daughter has a Coast headlamp. It is light and easy to use. She also uses her phone for her camera and gets great pictures while I use a full-size rugged camera. The point is, I wanted the extra dust and water protection that hers does not provide, and I don’t think I am going to mind the extra weight or bulkiness.
This is my first headlamp and was afraid of attracting nighttime bugs. After trying to walk with a lamb under each arm and a light between my knees, I decided to take her suggestion and try a headlamp. I have worn it once and it was awesome to have my hands free and too cold out for any nighttime bugs. Once I figure out how the distance beam and how the different colors work I think I’m really going to like it. If the bugs come after me it will be no worse than having a flashlight in my hand. I will just take it off my head and use it in my hand. She has had no problem with bugs and I have read that the red light will not attract them.

Great Light
Although it’s a bit heavier than my other headlamp this sing is bright! It’s great when you need to do something like set up camp at night because your hands are free and you can see for days. The only thing I don’t like when I compare this headlamp to my other black diamond headlamp is the fact that it doesn’t have rechargeable batteries and the fact that it is indeed heavier.

Bright Light
This headlamp fits my criteria...waterproof, light weight, good illumination and long batterie life. If your looking for a good headlamp with all the "Bells and Whistles"...look no further!

Great Headlamp
I bought this as an ostensibly more weatherproof, robust headlamp in comparison to my old standby Petzl Tikka. The Petzl has always served me well, and I still use it, but where I anticipate wetter conditions I'll go with the Storm. It's very bright and easily adjusted, and appears and feels bombproof. Can't go wrong with this one.

confortable
Asics Kinsey 5 is very confortable, but it's mesh is not very resistent, they should improve next release.
