Most Helpful Positive Review Crack Machine - Great all day trad machine
I went with my street shoe size and I've been very happy. These are snug but I believe they will stretch. If you want these to be comfortable out of the box, go a half size up from your street shoe size. I've used these on all types of rock. They are great on everything! Great rubber on these.... sticky!

Sized up, and so far so good

So far I've only used these once, so this is more for sizing: I wear 8 1/2 street shoes and ordered 9 1/2 Altura's. This is just about right for what I wanted, which is a comfortable shoe that I can keep on my feet for a while. At one full size up my toes touch the end but are not cramped.

I've been looking for a new all day comfort climbing shoe that also climbs well. Unfortunately, my feet are too big for the La Sportiva TC Pro and the Five Ten Grandstone. Thankfully, Butora makes some big sizes, and they also make 2 versions of this shoe - one wide (green) and one narrow (orange). I need a whopping 13.5 for my flippers. I tried the green version in my local shop. They felt OK, but I sensed some heel lift when I went up on my toes. No bueno. Campsaver came through with the narrow version in 13.5 and they fit great. I've only climbed with them 1 day so far, and they felt solid. I expect that within a few outings they'll be a great all-day comfort shoe.
