I love Lems Primal shoes. They are pretty much the only shoe I wear.

I had the Primal 1, and I've had 3 pairs of Primal 2's. That's 4 pairs of Primals I've had to buy in about 3 years.

The fact that I've bought so many in only 4 years means they wear out pretty fast. Or at least, the mesh does. The mesh has torn on each and every pair of Primals in less than 1 year. At least one was even earlier, like 5 months.

The insoles also wear out really fast. Way before the shoe is ready to die, the mesh has torn and the insole has disintegrated. So i just take the insole out and wear less comfortable shoes. I demote my torn mesh ones to weekend shoes, and buy a new pair to wear to the office.

It makes me sad they wear out so fast. But I haven't found a better pair of shoes. I walk all over in them, bike in them, run in them when I'm in a pinch and don't have my 5 fingers. Very helpful for being late to a meeting--just sprint across town--super comfy!

They are also very breathable. Great for warm weather. Not so good for rain. But hey, i live in CA, so I'm all set. :)
