Shipping was incredibly quick, I luckily received this tent the day before I was leaving for Austin, TX. We arrived around 11pm, it was pitch dark and I managed to pitch my tent, for the first time all by myself in 20min! My friend who had a single person cannoli style tent still wasn't done pitching his tent which he's used for years by the time I was nestled into my sleeping bag.

The ground was covered in cactus like shrubs and briars that you couldn't escape and yet the tent held up to the abuse with no holes or tears. In the morning it was incredibly dewy but the inside of my tent was completely dry!!! It did drop down to the 30's but I was completely dry and the wind wasn't an issue. Tent held up beautifully!!!

My only issue was even though the stakes were incredibly thick and lightweight, I still managed to maul and bend a few. No big deal, just don't use a rock as a hammer.

Clever design, adorably tiny but unnecessarily too small. It's sturdy and lightweight but gets lost amongst other gear on my harness.

The blade is super sharp, the detent snaps the blade in securely. Again though, unnecessarily small. Should have been half the price.

Adjusts everywhere you could imagine and still doesn't feel right. The shape is incredibly narrow making it look very odd.

In terms of functionality or protection, I haven't had a rock hit me yet so I don't know. It is super lightweight, I only hope it's a very small rock that hits me if I do get hit.

Super lightweight which is nice BUT I would not trust my life on it. Mainly only use it to hold gear. Screw lock part tends to unscrew occasionally. Fine for holding stuff that isn't a body.

I have not used my Pretzl Grigri 2 Belay Device yet, it seems durable but the hinging seems floppy. Won't know anything until I test it out.
