Great Drypack

Written on Nov 13, 2014

I took this pack canyoneering. The pack was thick enough that the abrasion from the rock didn't tear any holes, although it did get a slightly worn look. The fabric is thick enough I think it will hold through quite a bit of beating. It also kept all of my contents dry, even though I was dropping it down small drops and completely submerging it in water, swimming with it on my back for long periods of time. The pack floats well even if you squeeze the air out of it. The only thing I didn't pick up on is that the outer pocket is not waterproof, so if you put anything in it, it will get wet. The pack is also a bit awkward for a small frame. I am 5'5' 120lbs and the chest strap hit me right across the middle of the chest and was a bit uncomfortable, so if you are a small female you may want to try the pack on before purchasing it.
