Light mid layer jacket that is slim fitting so it can be layered or use as outer layer for milder temps. It is great on its own for temperature down to mid 30's. Has stretch panels in the side for comfort and maneuverability. It has one interior pocket that is big enough for phone and other valuables along with standard two exterior pockets. Very versatile for multiple uses and has some wind and water protection as well. It does not have gore tex and protects at that level but it is sufficient for milder conditions.

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's
All around use jacket for many activities that gives you the gore tex pro protection from elements. Not heavy at all and is very versatile. Hood is big enough for a helmet yet can adjust down to fit without one as well. The length is perfect for my frame and doesn't go to far past hips and restrict any movement. There are other shells cut longer for those that need it but if couple with bibs for snow activities I found the length perfect as for a smaller frame other shells end up being way too long. Has internal pocket besides to two larger waterproof outside pockets. Arc'teryx has done a great job with this and label it as "all around" I've found that to be true. It is pricey, but that is typical of a jacket with Gore-Tex pro.

Fantastic lightweight and good fitting bib. Flexible in the right spots yet with the Gore-tex gives plenty of harsh weather performance. The chest pocket could be slightly larger. Some people might also like to see one or two more pockets outside of the three but that is the tradeoff for a simple straightforward performing bib that is very comfortable when comparing to other bigger bulkier items. I like the fact that OR has kept the Bib minimal for weight and function. When considering if you combine this with a shell or coat should have enough storage between both of them. Love the fact that there are options with stretchable lightweight fabric with Gore Tex and doesn't have that stiffer crumple like feel. These have none of that effect and is an extremely effective combination.
