Like a lot of people, you end up "collecting" belts over the years and have a plethora of them, in my case, because in reality, I don't do any sort of activity that really damages them. I got this belt (actually 2 of them, one brown, one gray) on a whim. I liked how they looked and decided they might be worth it. Yes, adjusting them is hard-ish, but, you adjust them once so really, I can't complain about that. Clicking them in/out is super easy and I love how thin the buckle is. Also, the material is very soft so as the years go by and you start gaining some much hated level of fat around your mid-section and your rolls touch the belt when you sit down, this won't hurt as its the case of other hiking belts which material is very rough.
So yes, I use them, a lot. They are my favorite belts for sure.

If you like "Athletic fit" or "Trim Fit" or "Body Fit", this is what you're looking for. Great quality product and IMHO perfect fit, for reference, Im 6'2 190 pounds, went with the 34 Long Inseam, I think regular inseam would've worked as well, I dont mind them being 1 inch longer. The quality is there and totally justifies the price.

I ordered this from CampSaver, was really excited to get a hiking and skiing pant that would be slimmer fitting as I dont like loose clothes. Putting one of the suspenders the first time, the button that they attach to came off so I contacted the company about it, mostly because I wanted to make sure what I should do, if I fixed it..would that void the warranty? Well, I sent Mountain Co. and email and they responded immediately that they would exchange the pant because that defect is not something they want, I was pleasantly surprised by the service and exchanged my address with them and what-not over email, that's where the communication ended, I never got further replies to my emails (and I tried) or got anything on the mail from them. I tried calling the number they have on their website but it doesn't receive calls...I ended up returning the pants to campsaver, so my take is: if you don't need the warranty on them (supposedly a lifetime one) then go ahead and get them, if you think you'll need the warranty, then don't. A sign that says lifetime warranty is only good if the company backing it up actually does it.
As for the fit: They are slim fit on the seat area, front, but from the knees down they are what I consider loose-ish.., the pants are extremely well made and look good, I'll say that, the fabric feels awesome too. You can tell its a quality product, trust me, it was a hard decision for me to return them, but I react to bad service like that, however, CampSaver a

Helping out fellow shoppers here. The item that campsaver is selling is the latest version of this jacket, as pictured and spec'd on the Marmot website: https://marmot.com/products/details/cerro-torre-jacket
The main difference is that the Cerro Torre is no longer a good ski shell as they removed the snow skirt, napoleon pockets and the pocket on the arm (which is awesome for the ski pass). It now has two pockets, the hand pockets and that's it. The material and everything is top notch, but if you were looking for a athletic-fit ski specific shell from Marmot, I'd say the Trident is the way to go, albeit being more expensive (it is Gore-Tex Pro though). I got it and the fit is that much better than the Cerro Torre.
BTW, nothing wrong with the Cerro Torre per se, just know what you are getting.
