Smart pants

Review for
Montane Terra Pants - Men's
I think the proof will be in how well these wear. Save a long term review, the pants are "smart" – very thoughtful design. One grip is that the length was about an inch shorter than I would have expected. I got the "long" version and when I sit down some ankle appears (6' 2") giving any mosquitoes in the area easy access. But, again, first impressions are *high*.

Montane Terra Pants - Men's
Waist feels right; given I got the "long" inseam, I was expecting it to be a little longer. NOT terrible but a little atypical.

Exped Air Pillow
This pillow is extremely comfortable and easy to use. The "slopping" design mimics your pillow at home, cradling your head while supporting your neck. It's great on my side as well as on my back (the only position in which I don't sleep is on my stomach). The one-way valve makes blowing the pillow up a breeze. Finally, although it's lightweight, it's held up great! I've used it for approx. 5-

Patagonia R4 Jacket - Men's
While this jacket is warm and does indeed cut the wind, it's cut a little wide at the waist. In contrast to the R3 Hi-Loft fleece, which fits closely, this jacket is a bit boxy and without a drawcord at the hem, you're left looking kind of like an A-frame and heat loss is probably inevitable, particularly in the wind.
