I was looking for a vest that would take care of my needs on my 30 mile training runs and still be able to use in a race without looking like I have a overnight backpack on. I was worried when I ordered it, but it's big enough without being obnoxious.

I have a couple long runs in with these and I've been very happy. The extra pockets are great. My only complaint is they ride a little low.
