A perfect RAB fit to these 2.5 layer rain pant: Slim, not overly baggy. The fabric does indeed keep you dry and breathable in the ugliest downpour. Zippers up the leg let you keep your shoes on while changing. They are a great match for a Flashpoint Rain Jacket. I normally wear these over tights or running shorts, so a close-fit, regular pants-fit is just what I was after.
Pick up one of these and take the time to adjust the flame/pressure, keep it close by where ever you go. Propane is on sale everywhere, not so the small iso-whatever fuel in the dinky canisters. I use the short, green Coleman cans when car camping with an Oli Camp Ion Titan Stove which weighs 38 grams, the Kovea LPG Adapter weighs 96 grams and is worth the weight in gold for cost savings and peace of mind!
I'm stuck north of Ogallala NE in a huge March snowstorm. have seen rain, sleet, wind, now thick/wet snow. M10 breaths and sheds water, ice like a champ! Will be using it as a cover for the end of a bivvy tonight. Sooo glad I bought this! At 7.4 oz, I'm always bringing this along.
I purchased this to replace a 20 yr old Brunton model that has just finally worn out. TruArc compass has tool-free declination, no need for a screwdriver/knife point. The global needle might be a good reason to finally go to New Zealand.
At 32 grams (with lanyard), basic compass and map are still the best way to navigate and they ALWAYS work.
Just the right weight to carry on every outing. Just the right size for the morning coffee and for the end-of-day Nalgene full of hot, black tea. Works well with a Steripen too!
Don't think twice... when purchasing a NeoAir just add this stuff sack to the cart. The stuff sack weighs 0.6 oz or 17 g , not a penalty at all when you consider that this sack will keep the NeoAir from punctures while packed in your backpack. Many hikers say that they keep their NeoAir folded and use it as framing against the back of a frameless pack. Don't do it! Roll that pad up and slip it in
This product is the perfect addition to my kit for those times when the Park Rangers have an open fire ban in effect. I have modified my bushbuddy/knock-off wood burning stove so that the Trangia will sit on top. It cooks like a champ!
The screw on cap lets you keep unused fuel in the unit - no need to try to pour anything back into a container. The throttle works well so simmering is now a great
