When we are rafting and take a shade tarp I use those beefy army surplus stakes, but for tents....these are the best! They are very strong [I've never had one bend, and I've wailed on them with rocks!]. The triangular shape works well to keep them in place--even in soft soil. The cords on the end help to locate them when it's take down time. They also make it easier to pull the stakes out. Thumbs Up!
