I wear 6.5 in street shoes, but I decided to get 7.5's for these shoes due to all reviewers complaining about these guys running small. I'm glad I did because even the 7.5s run small. I had a hard time wearing these for even 30 minutes for the first 2 mos. Very very painful, but I stuck with them and kept wearing them until they stretched just enough to be not so painful but act as a great, aggressive, and sticky pair of shoes! They have strong, sticky heels for any kind of heel hook moves you need to perform to send difficult technical routes. Another plus is that they're velcro, meaning it is more convenient for me to breath my feet whenever I'm feeling a bit of pain in my feet. With my Lyras, I have started to be more confident of my feel during climbing, which has jacked my performance way up from when I started out with beginners shoes. Definitely recommended.
