After researching different winter boots for women, I used the coupon and ordered the black Lowa Trident III women’s boot from Campsaver and received my order when promised. I took them out of the box and looked them over. They looked great and the inside was lined with the warm materials as described. Slipping them on and lacing them up, they felt really good. At first they felt loose, but when you lace the top hook and tie it, it tightened up nicely. I haven’t had them out in the snow as of yet, but have used them walking outside and on a treadmill. The boot moves with you and I didn’t experience any rubbing. They feel light on my feet and are very comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 in Vasque and the Lowa boots are similar to that and to me, are true to size. The toe box seems to be wider and don’t crunch my foot. I’m glad I ordered them.
I find Vasque to be a great brand for me. This boot has been no exception. I haven’t experienced any ankle pain. There is plenty of room in the toe box, fitting true to size. Although it hasn’t snowed yet, these boots have kept my foot warm and dry on cold, rainy days. I can’t wait to try them out in the snow.
Read other reviews but decided the extra weight was worth it in order to be that high off the ground and warm. Inflation does get tiring, but it does inflate faster, it seems, after you have used it a couple of times. The mat is very comfortable with little to no slippage. Exped makes great mats!
