Purchased a Gamma SL hoody in May for cool spring and fall days. Similar to my Squamish hoody but different enough to be useful. However, after wearing it a few times and washing it with my Squamish hoody, one of the hem draw strings broke. I've written to Campsaver a few times with no response, and their 800 number is shut down. Arc'teryx is not helpful, saying that it's not covered under warranty normally, but they'd do me a favor and fix it if I send it in. With their stated turnaround time it will be winter before I get it back, which defeats the purpose of why i bought it. Next time I'll save myself the hassle and stick with Patagonia
Really like the pack overall, and I found it just right for my needs on the mountain. Great features such as the goggle compartment, multiple ski-carrying options, wet/dry areas etc.
One note about the color: it is most definitely not black, as shown in the pictures. Although the tag says black, it is gray, with gray straps, and has a little bit of a pattern to it on the body of the pack. I re
