Reliable Trekking Poles

Review for
Leki Voyager Trekking Poles
Strong made with aluminum shafts. Is fairly light weight at 270 grams. Has thick comfortable rubber grips and a reliable twist locking system. At 145cm max length it is good for tall persons and also for use with a tarp as a pitching setup.

Best Bet for a Semi Self Inflating Pad
Written on Mar 08, 2019
Review for
Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro
This is a great pad. Will provide insulation from heat loss even when not inflated. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is a green not lime and beige on the other side. The fabric feels great and is not slippery, Good thickness. It will take a day or so to self inflate the first time you unroll it. But that's to be expected the way it is die cut. The pro is that once you have it inflated it will be easy to roll up and put it back in its stuff sack. All in all I think it is the best bet for an inflatable matt. All though maybe not a fully self inflatable mat. Once again that's actually good because it will deflate easier and have more longevity and will be ok to sleep on even when not inflated. R values of 4 is a plus as well.

Best for large loads.

Gregory Baltoro 65L Backpack
Probably the best all around backpack on the market for large loads over ruff terrain. I recommend the 75Liter for 7 to 10 day trips where extra warmth and food is needed. I particularly like the added gear organization ability. But most of all it hugs your body and allows for better balance and weight distribution, more so than I think any pack of this size and ability.
