I am a small waisted person and the small is a pretty good size. I have long legs so the length of the legs could be longer- they scootch right up to my butt (I'd like to be able to keep the legs tight without having them right next to my crotch- but it's not uncomfortable). I like the look a lot and once I wore it a few times I got used to the snugginess of the harness. Good buy, good price.
