I bought this in-conjunction with the alcohol burner, hoping that it would be an all in one solution to every situation. In theory it is, however it doesn't boil water as fast as other cheaper or homemade models. It isn't very effective burning wood needs alot of attention, & not very effective burning alcohol. It likes to guzzle alcohol.
