Was running an older setup with hardwires and T1s and decided to upgrade to NTN. The bindings feel amazing, though it did take me a day or so to get used to the instant engagement and more active feel. After I got used to the feel they are pretty much amazing. 22 has a great history with pumping out superb bindings and this is no exception! The step in function works amazingly well and is super convenient. Stepping out took a little getting used to (the duck butt can catch on the binding, but after a bit you figure out how to quickly get the boot out, even if caught). Tour mode is extremely smooth as well. I normally tour on dynafits and I was impressed with how well these bindings did on the shorter, half day tour I went on (only tour I've done with them).

I like a lot of climbing companies, and used a lot of different gear. One company that I have always been impressed with is Petzl. I love the design, durability, and functionality of the majority of their products. I purchased the Nomics mid season this last year and was able to get some good use out of them (mostly in Utah, but they preformed beautifully in Ouray and Telluride). Simply put, these axes are amazing. The grips are super comfortable, they have beautiful balance and swing, and they are solid when they stick. They don't do quite as well on lower angle stuff, but that's not what they were designed to do. I'm not going to be one of those guys that says that they made me climb a grade harder, but, in many ways, they made my climbing more enjoyable. If you're questioning whether or not you should spend the extra cash to get these things trust me, they're worth it.

Love this boot, but I found that it put too much pressure on my foot arch (even after thermoforming the intuition liner). Ended up fixing the problem by cutting out the arch in the extra insole and now the boots are set for all-day comfort (literally wore them all day, every day for a 4 day ski tour). Amazing boot for skiing. Provides great control.

Very flexible and easy to place. They have a really smooth action. I have a full set of master cams, and got some of these x4s to double up in finger sizes. They compliment the smaller Mastercams very well. Independently they have great range and are easy to remove.

Pretty good ax. Doesn't place in ice as easily as others, but the thing that I love is the super comfy grip. Works great for my hands and is super sticky to help you not get too gripped in the vert. Enough curvage in the shaft to help pull bulges easily and to keep your hands away from the ice, but not too much to make things awkward on lower angle terrain. Pinkie guard also helps protect against bruised knuckles.

This beacon is awesome. There are only two buttons, which, when combined with the send/search mode, allow you to access all the features. For me it was super simple to remember which functions to access where.
Haven't used this beacon for an actual rescue scenario yet (hope to never have to), but have practiced with it a few times so far. Super fast processing and great range at a fantastic price. Awesome flagging system as well for multiple burial scenarios. No problems with ghost signals at all (except when trying to find a 30 year-old well abused beacon, pretty sure the antennas were going out on that one)
GET THIS BEACON!!!
