Boots fit well straight out of the box. Have worn on 1 short hike in the rain. boots kept my feet dry, ankles felt secure on the slippery muddy trail. They did everything they were suppose to. Real test will be on the 30 mile trip in a few months.

Therm-a-Rest ProLite Sleeping Pad
was time for an upgrade and after lots of research decided to spend the money. Best decision ever. I'm a light sleeper and have trouble sleeping on the ground. With this pad I slept well. Didn't feel the ground underneath me or get cold. Will be buying my wife one soon.
