Took this baby out for its first spin up at Granite Park Chalet in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA in early July. Socked in mountains with low-lying clouds and rain by day meant a cold night in an uninsulated bunkhouse, and this bag kept me super warm as advertised. It didn't get down to the rated 15 degrees F, just low 30s and upper 20s if I recall, but I was still snug as a bug. Lower down at St. Mary's Campground on the east side of the park and at a campground outside the park to the west where we stayed a couple of the other nights, nighttime temps were much warmer, but I was still comfortable in this bag, not overheating, which is exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate the design of this bag--it's very logically and thoughtfully designed as far as where the zippers are located and how the cinches operate when inside the bag--small creature comforts that make a difference. This same bag retails for like $110 to $120, so snagged this on a pretty good deal under $90. Highly recommend it and I love the colors (which is the navy blue with bright azure blue combo--it can be kind of confusing what color combo you will receive from the pictures and choices), and I hope to have this bag a long, long time!

Here's my pitch: don't go buy some $40 pillow, or even a $25-plus pillow, but this one. It's awesome. You'll be happy. Your head won't roll off it, it won't shoot out from under you. It was like $12 bucks when I bought it, what more can you ask for? I also own a Sea to Summit brand Aeros Ultra Light pillow that I bought at REI for over $40, and it's okay, and my husband does like that one better, but as a person who likes to sleep on my side, or with my head lolled off to one side a little when on my back, this pillow really does the job since it cradles my head thanks to its X design. Plus, it's lightweight, it easily folds back into the provided stuff bag, and Klymit stands by their products. Their inflatable sleeping pads are also epic, for essentially the same reasons. The only thing I would improve about this pillow, is my friend has a Klymit X Pillow XL (not the Campsaver-branded one, she got it at Sportsman's Warehouse or something) and it's a little bit softer fabric. This isn't bad, and a sage review I read for this product simply suggested putting a t-shirt over the pillow if it's a little too swishy or whatever. I didn't find this material bothersome personally, so I guess it's up to the user's judgement--just wish they'd make all their pillows out of that other fabric! Otherwise, this pillow is a great buy and I look forward to using it a lot more on upcoming adventures.

First off, this sleeping pad is AWESOME (as stated in the title). Second, allow me to preface by saying that our previous backpacking sleeping mats were a nightmare--some kind of old foam that was not much different than lying on the hard ground, plus they never laid flat after being rolled out, but hey, they were free. Anyway, not to knock roll-up mats, because I'm sure significant improvements have been made to their design since our old mats were made, but the point is, we were in desperate need of something more comfortable. A friend of mine spent $100+ on a Thermarest and loves it, but we are on a budget and at this time not in need of anything too fancy or necessarily four-season-ready. We had previously bought one of Klymit's X Pillows on sale here at Camp Saver for like $12 or something crazy, and I was actually happier with it than the highly-rated Sea to Summit Aeros Ultra Light pillow that I bought at REI for over $40; the X Pillow just cradles your head better--that's another product I'd recommend. While looking for a sleeping bag for my husband, this sleeping pad (also on sale) randomly popped up in my results and I was ecstatic, because at the time they were like $35 and backed by some pretty great reviews--all of which proved to be true. This pad is incredible and uses a similar technology to the X pillow, using an interconnected air pocket system that keeps the air from being displaced or redistributed when you lay on it, and it's very effective. The only down
