I have not used the jacket yet. But it appears to be a quality made item. Large runs a little large, but is good for wearing another garnet under the jacket. Only negative seems to be hood: It does not fold up - just hangs in the back.

Salomon shoes over the years have lasted me longer than any other brand. They are better made than their competition. Besides their durability, they are comfortable and relaxing to wear. I recommend looking and buying Salomon products.

Over the years I've purchased several different brands of running/hiking shoes. Salomon has consistently out performed all other brands in terms of holding up and overall performance. They are simply a better made product. The GTX (Gore-Tex) makes them extremely versatile.

Amazing warm and light weight. I use the jacket for everyday cold weather wear. Would be excellent for skiing. Sleeve length a little longer than sizing chart (longer than Alpha IS jacket). Waist size corresponds to sizing chart. Would recommend purchase and use.

Amazingly light and warm. It's so thin will not get in your way for any activity you are doing. Sizing true to size chart. I use for everyday cold weather. Would be unbelievable for climbing and mountaineering.
