Good, but not as good as previous models

Review for
Patagonia R1 Pullover - Mens
Th R1 is a solidly warm and versatile top. I recommended it for a cold weather base or for just hanging.
I own an old version in a XL that runs a more athletic (tight) fit. When replacing that one which is starting to get holes, I had to return an XL and get a large. The current large is at least as big if not bigger than the older XL. Be aware.

Review for
Treksta Alta GTX Hiking Boot - Men's
Treksta's unique approach to shoe/boot fit and comfort (nestfit) is great. The most comfortable that I have ever worn. I don't know what I would do if I had to go to another backpacking boot, now.
Treksta's soles are also excellent, with nice grip.
That being said, my experience has been that their Assault boots that these replace, wear out quickly (about 300 miles). The heals tend to separate after about 200 miles requiring a sole glue repair. I suspect that the Alta's I just purchased will be the same, they seem to have the exact same sole. Also, I have no idea why Treksta provides laces that are so ridiculously long. Minus 1 star for lack of durability.
I usually am a size 13 but wear a size 12 1/2 in Treksta footwear.
Definitely recommended!
