I'm reviewing the issue that kept me from giving the tent 5 stars. It's been a great tent otherwise. On each seam of the fly, where the seam lines up with the poles, there are 2 velcro straps on each that are glued onto the inside seam. These are optional, but once I got to using them, I liked them. They are easy to install once you figure out the best way to do it and they keep the seams lined up with the poles. That is their only purpose. If you don't care about the pole alignment you can not use them and the tent works fine anyway. There is one velcro where the guyout loop is, and one velcro near the bend on each leg.The problem with these velcro strips is that two of them came unglued from the seam on one of the corners of my tent. I checked the others and found another one of them partially unglued. It looks as if it were never glued down properly. Anyway, I called Marmot and it took quite awhile to get someone on the phone. I asked them if they could tell me what kind of glue to use to glue down the velcro and they said they couldn't provide me with that and that information and that I would need to return the tent for warranty repairs. Well, it seemed ridiculous to me to have to pay shipping and wait for a return on my tent for such a minor repair, which I could easily do myself, so I said, "No, thanks." and tracked down some glue that would bond with these materials. All other features of the tent are great. Perfect for one person and all your stuff, or two people and
